Big Data And Its Big Problems

So whats the problem? As Big Data science increases our ability to model or simulate complex systems, these models, ironically, become as complex as the real world. But they are not the real world. Whether its astrophysics or the economy, building a computer model still demands leaving some aspects of the problem out. More importantly, the very act of bringing the equations over to digital form means you have changed them in subtle ways and that means you are solving a slightly different problem than the real-world version.

I don’t think this is actually big data problem. Amount of data and complexity of the system are two different things and there isn’t necessarily correlation between them. When the data gets bigger the modeling won’t get any easier but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. You’ll just have to understand the limitations of your abstraction.

Business Intelligence came to manage Big data so this shall not be a problem actually. We can justify it in some other way.

  3. Big data is a necessary concept to deploy for the different companies in near future. It helps in finding out in-depth patterns and detailed analysis which eventually helps in identifying the key areas to work upon for efficient business development.
