In Interview – Consider CloudHosting Your Business Intelligence

// Jaspersoft’s experience with more than 100 successful cloud BI deployments has made us realize that a partnership, best-of-breed approach to cloud BI is the best way to go. BI as a service through on-demand SaaS (News – Alert) deployments are generally singular offerings that are overstretched, offer limited flexibility, and generally need to be built from the ground-up, resulting in costly down-time and high implementation costs. One of the best practices that we’ve established from our multiple launches is that customers need to have a cloud hosting-enhanced BI solution with a lean framework. Jaspersoft’s lean architecture based on web-based open standards coupled with experts in cloud management and BI consulting results in a proven solution than can meet a myriad of business needs. ..

  1. My name is Mailat Radu and I work as PR and social media specialist at BITSoftware Brasov, – „ERP, CRM and BI national leader provider in Romania” – and one of my jobs is to attract people interested in ERP, CRM, BI, cloud and open source to write on our company`s blog which will be launched soon. I watched with interest your blog page and I would love if you accept to become our partner. And I see two options: to write directly for our blog or to allow me to post on BIT`s blog some of your items, with reference to the place where they were originally posted, obviously.
I hope to have an answer from you as soon as you can. Til than, best regards!

  2. BI as a Service will be the future of BI. One of the main barriers to oevrcome is the customers’ willingness to host their business data outside their premise. The move will happen, but it will depend on the success of the early adopters and more innovation in showing the benefit of BI solutions from a user-ownership perspective.

  3. Isn’t it amazing that Jaspersoft is one of the few BI companies recognizing the promise of the cloud BI? I wonder if it has something to do with how “heavy-weight” your customer base is. Again, will banks and brokerages ever be willing to place their sensitive data in the cloud?
