Tagetik 3.0 Enabled by Microsoft Sharepoint

Tagetik and Microsoft have partnered to deliver a complete solution that can support Performance Management (PM) & Financial Governance (FG) + extended Business Intelligence (BI) + Collaboration + Communication and leverage all the Microsoft and Tagetik technology frameworks.

Tagetik 3.0 Enabled by Microsoft Office Sharepoint has been created to support CFOs in today’s complex organizations that need new technological and organizational approaches.

More about Tagetik you find on http://www.tagetik.com/solutions/sharepoint

I think you have to insert Tagetik and the pmOne AG to your Categories as one of the biggest BI-Vendors in Europe, like BO, Actuate, Cognos, Microsoft, SAP, etc.

Best Tim

I would expect Sharepoint(MOSS2007) to gain significant ground, somewhat akin to the way Nokia became the biggest seller of cameras when they were really making phones all along. From implementations its clear that one size doesnt need to fit all but a little bit of collaboration goes a long way to making different BI tools play together nicely. Whats your take on the different tools playing in the same sandbox? Are we moving away from only one BI tool suite mentality to accepting its not a bad thing for more tools?
