The 5×5 Architectural Framework
Ashok Nayak’s latest column in DM Review deserves a mention. He talks about the 5×5 Architectural Framework. The framework that he suggests has five simple stages of Data Movement. He says if an enterprise has to decide on it’s Data Warehouse Architecture, it has go through all or most of the levels listed here.
Though each level hasn’t been detailed to the last bit, this is a good place to start questioning if you Data Warehouse is matching them or not.
